About The SFKO Tournament

The South Florida Kickball Open is a national tournament that is open to kickball teams from all over the nation.  It is an open tournament, meaning that a team does not have to be invited nor otherwise qualify in order to take part in the tournament – any kickball team can register to play. In fact, a team does not even have to be part of any official, organized kickball league, national or otherwise. Anyone can create a team and register that team to play. The only requirement is that team rosters are limited to a maximum of 20 members per team, your team must field at least 4 members of each sex, and all team members must be at least 21 yrs or older on the day of the tournament in order to play.

The previous tournament in South Florida last year had nationally-ranked kickball teams such as Hey Whoa (NY), Meatballs (FL), Young Guns (FL), Gonzo (VA) and Dumpster Fire (NY), among others. We expect to have even more teams register for tournament play in South Florida in 2009.
