Optional Sunday Funday at Ft. Lauderdale Beach

A good way to relax and recover from the previous day's tournament. Spend the day lounging on the beach, soaking up some sun, and playing volleyball in the sand with some of your fellow kickballers or just checking out the bars, restaurants and shops along the Ft. Lauderdale Beach strip.

Meet everyone on the beach in front of the world famous Elbo Room & Dirty Blonde's on the Beach. Those of you that attended Sunday Funday at the 2009 SFKO will most definitely remember where we're talking about. :) See map for location of all events.

You can take the Sun Trolley to the beach from the Hampton Inn or if you want an even more scenic and relaxing route, take a water taxi from Riverfront (Briny Pub - water taxi stop #11) up the intracoastal to the beach at Beach Place (water taxi stop #4) then it's a short walk to Blondie's/Elbo Room near to Exit 66 bar/club.

Feel free to browse the boutiques, restaurants & bars, like Lulu's Bait Shack, at Beach Place, do a sake bomb at the Pirate Bar, or check out some of the other restaurants and bars along the beach

Can't wait to come down and get to the beach? Want to see what it's like right now?
Check out the Ft. Lauderdale BeachCam for a streaming LIVE view of the beach!
